Unapologetically made for cats

90% of 'cat' supplements are dog formulas in a cat costume.

We made 4 that aren't — Longevity, Hip & Joint, Skin & Coat, and Urinary.

So far this has been the best litter I’ve ever purchased. I have three cats and four litter boxes. I have to scoop daily and the urine clumps really well and doesn’t leave a mess on the bottom as there’s hardly any dust.

Frequently Asked Question

Frequently Asked Question

9 of 10 cat supplements we reviewed were reformulated dog products.

Most “cat” supplements use the same formula as the brand's dog line. Same actives. Same fillers. New sticker. New price.

That's a problem — because cats aren't small dogs. They can't make their own taurine. They metabolize Vitamin A and D differently than dogs. And ingredients that are safe for dogs — garlic, onion, some essential oils — can be toxic to them.

Cat biology, in plain English

Why cats are different

Obligate carnivores — They need nutrients only found in animal tissue.

Taurine-dependent — Cats can't make enough on their own. Too little causes blindness and heart failure.

Low tolerance — Certain vitamins and extracts build up in cats. Feline-range dosing is non-negotiable

Precision matters — A scaled-down dog pill isn't precision. It's a guess.

Longevity

Longevity

the daily baseline

Who it's for: Every adult cat. A daily multi covering what cat food can miss.
What’s in it
(Per 2 chews)
60 chews · 30-day supply

Taurine — a nutrient cats can't make enough of on their own

Hydrolyzed collagen 50 mg — skin, joint, gut lining

Vitamin A, D3, E, C at cat-appropriate doses

Full B-complex — B1, B3, B5, B6, B12, folic acid, biotin, choline

Minerals — zinc, manganese, iodine, magnesium, potassium, selenium, chromium

L-Carnitine — for lean body composition

Why it's different: Not a reformulated dog multi. Taurine is present. Vitamin A and D are dosed within the safe feline range.

Hip & Joint

Hip & Joint

for jumpers
and seniors

Who it's for: Cats over 6. Big breeds. Climbers who've stopped climbing.
What’s in it
(Per 2 chews)
60 chews · 30-day supply

Glucosamine HCl 100 mg

Chondroitin sulfate 40 mg

MSM 40 mg

Green-lipped mussel 40 mg

Fish oil concentrate 30 mg EPA/DHA

Turmeric 30 mg

Hydrolyzed bovine collagen 100 mg

Pork bone broth 100 mg

Vitamin C 10 mg

Why it's different: Every one of those actives is on the dog-formula gold standard. We just dosed them for a cat's body weight, not a Labrador's.

Skin & Coat

Skin & Coat

for shedders
and itchers

Who it's for: Shedding season. Dry winter skin. Long-haired divas. Dull coats.
What’s in it
(Per 2 chews)
60 chews · 30-day supply

Taurine 10 mg

Vitamin A palmitate + Vitamin E (15 IU) — skin and coat health

Zinc 4 mg — skin barrier, hair follicle support

Biotin 0.1 mg — coat quality

Flaxseed meal 50 mg + fish oil — omega support

Why it's different: Taurine in a skin & coat formula because cat skin health depends on it in ways dog skin doesn't.

Urinary Support

Urinary Support

for UTIs and
crystal-prone cats

Who it's for: Cats with a UTI history. Male cats. Indoor cats. Any cat who's had that vet visit more than once.
What’s in it
(Per 2 chews)
60 chews · 30-day supply

Cranberry powder 50 mg

D-Mannose 50 mg

Marshmallow root 30 mg

Dandelion root 30 mg

Nettle root 30 mg

Astragalus 30 mg

Why it's different: Urinary issues are a cat-specific problem. Cranberry and D-mannose do the antimicrobial work.

Supplements Made Exclusively For Cats

We started Meowtamins
because we got tired of reading labels

Hi, I’m Kristina, I have a cat named Paco.  and when I went looking for a daily vitamin for him, I did what any reasonable person does: I compared labels.
What I found didn't make sense. The "cat" supplement and the "dog" supplement from the same brand had nearly identical ingredients. Same actives. Same fillers. Different picture on the jar.
So we went back to first principles. Months of R&D on feline biology — what cats actually need, what they metabolize differently from dogs, what's unsafe for them at dog-formula doses. We built four cat-specific formulas from the ground up. That's Meowtamins.
